OnePlus has launched its OnePlus Nord 2T in Europe as a successor to its 2021 Nord 2 smartphone. The smartphone was first introduced in China and Nepal earlier this month and has reached Europe after a couple of weeks.
The Nord 2T features a punch-hole display on the front, which carries support for a high refresh rate. For photography, it features an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel triple camera unit. Here is all the information on the specifications, features, and price of the Nord 2T.
OnePlus Nord 2T 5G: Features, Specifications
The 2021 OnePlus Nord 2 was infamous for its battery explosions in India, and hopefully, the issues are resolved in this iteration. The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G gets an updated design, a more powerful Dimensity processor, and improved fast charging support.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is more of an evolution than a revolution. It gets a similar front design with a left-aligned punch-hole camera cutout on the display as the outgoing model. The rear design is almost identical with the exception of the camera island, which is larger. The Nord 2T retains the 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The major change in the Nord 2T comes in the form of a new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, which is expected to offer improved performance compared to the MediaTek 1200 SoC of the Nord 2. It is equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The display punch-hole houses a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 selfie camera. The redesigned camera module on the back has an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 119-degree FOV, a 2-megapixel mono lens, and a dual-LED flash.
